Education of people from an early age as to what foods are and aren't healthy is one way to do it, 'get em while they're young' but parents also need to be educated, as well as everyone else. The average person doesn't eat a pie thinking "this could one day cause illness or even death" but it can do eventually. The average person just doesn't realise.
