Level the playing field to NZ firms for local and central government procurement
Government procurement often favours the large previously proven vendors, many of which are offshore businesses, and also government procurement contracts are sometimes managed by offshore businesses.
So the government is going to work to level the playing field and help use some of this existing government spend as powerful revenue for our small growing businesses. the result? Better solutions made from new zealand that can be exported offshore.
